I have found them very personable. It has the feeling of the local neighborhood Post Office. If you go often they get to know you.
The rudest post office I have ever dealt with. They treat you bad then don't understand when you complain to the postmaster. After they find out you complain, your mail stops coming, they hold it for a week, then you all of a sudden get a stack of mail backdated 2 weeks! Don't bother complaining to the USPS because they don't do anything but tell the post office who in return treats you worse!
They seem to be getting nicer over there at the TS post office, but the main (very tall giant-like man) has his days of being a complete worthless A$$. I felt the need to mention that it's the TS post office since some dummy in town thinks all the bad reviews are for the SH post office. Anyway, I do wish their hours were a lot better. Working people can't make it there on time because they close at 3:30, and it's impossible to go during my lunch break because the whole post office ignorantly closes for lunch. I did report a problem once when we didn't get an Amazon package and the girl marked it as "attempted delivery" even though it didn't need a freaking signature! I actually sent the footage from our security camera to the head people at USPS. Her lazy, big butt just didn't want to get out of the jeep and walk my package to the porch!
I had a package delivered at 11:16am this morning that didn't fit into the mailbox. (This has happened before) I say didn't fit because the mailbox door couldn't be shut since the package was too long. Needless to say, with rain in the forecast for the last 24 hours, I was able to rip into the priority mail box in no time. Really going to enjoy the Christmas present and my new found superhuman strength.
BELIEVE the reviews on this post office. The incompetency is true. My husband's DL renewal was sent back to the DMV 4 times by this post office and when we spoke with the postal workers about it each time, we got a different excuse. Always everyone's fault but theirs. Never an apology for their error(s). Small town post office without the small town courtesy.
